Bringing Mondrian's 'Lozenge composition with yellow lines' to The Netherlands

Abstract
A recent discovery of a 1932 newspaper clipping sheds new light on how Piet Mondrian's painting 'Lozenge Composition with Yellow Lines' (1933) came to the Gemeentemuseum The Hague in The Netherlands. This article explores the reception of Mondrian's abstract work, from the early 1920s till the present day.
