Abstract
The chapter introduces and assesses different types of so-called ‘post-award remedies’ that are of practical relevance in international investment arbitration. In particular, it covers requests for correction and rectification, requests for additional awards and supplementary decisions, requests for interpretations as well as requests for revision of the award. Moreover, adopting a more overarching perspective, the chapter draws attention to and addresses a number of challenges that may arise in connection with recourse by parties to these post-award remedies in the practice of international investment arbitration.
